Southern Vermont Standby Power is owned and operated by Lindsay Chambeau of Rupert, Vermont. Lindsay’s background is in the construction trades including the operation of heavy equipment, welding, electrical, equipment maintenance and repair. She found the standby power industry to be the best combination of her skills and interests, as well as a fulfillment of a need in the area. She has dedicated the past four years of her career to the pursuit of manufacturer certifications related to standby power, as well as an electrical license. She currently holds certifications from both Kohler Power Systems and Generac Power Systems for their air-cooled and liquid-cooled product lines. She is experienced in the repair and maintenance of other generator brands as well, such as Winco, Briggs and Stratton, and Cummins Onan.

She is currently working towards her journeyman electrical license to round off her professional development in the standby power industry. Lindsay prides herself in possessing an unmatched work ethic, attention to detail, as well as clear and responsive communication.
